Website and Privacy Policies

We are committed to protecting your privacy and securing the personal information made available to us when you visit FRRSdigital.com. The FRRS website is run by Fry Communications, Inc. (Fry) on behalf of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (the Board).

We only collect personal information when you provide that information to us in connection with your online transactions (meaning account creation and online purchases) or when you ask us to contact you (for example, if you have an issue that you need assistance with). Personal information includes your name, email, mailing address, phone number, or other information that identifies you personally and which you provide to us.

Online Transactions

We require you to provide personal information to create and access an account on our website and to order a subscription or replacement product. If you order a subscription or replacement product, we request personal information such as your name and shipping address, telephone number, and email address. We retain and use this information to process and verify your order. Disclosure of the information we request is voluntary, but if you don’t provide the information, you will be unable to order a subscription or replacement product. PayPal collects the payment information, which ensures that payment information is entered only on PayPal’s site and is not shared with our website. We (neither Fry nor the Board) receive your payment information including, for example, your credit card number. PayPal collects the payment under its own policies and has its own privacy policy, which details the safeguards that apply to the information you provide PayPal.

To ensure the security and confidentiality of personal information, we use security software on our website to prevent unauthorized access. We also conduct periodic tests of our security safeguards. We restrict the information we collect to Fry and Board staff who require access to the information as part of their official duties. We protect the information consistent with applicable legal requirements including the Privacy Act of 1974. The information we collect in connection with this site and the Board’s subscription service is part of the Board’s Systems of Records. The System of Records Notice (SORN) entitled BGFRS—40, “FRB—Board Subscription Services” sets forth the purposes of the collection and the permissible disclosure of the information (available at https://www.federalreserve.gov/files/BGFRS-40-Board-Subscription-Services.pdf).

Contacting Us

We also collect your personal information when you ask us to contact you. As your comments, questions, and suggestions are important to us, please contact us by using the contact information provided on the Contact Us page. Before contacting us, there are a few things you should know.

You are not required to provide your name or any other personal information in order to contact us. However, if you want us to respond to a question or other inquiry you will need to provide sufficient information for us to contact you.

We may forward your correspondence, including any personal information you choose to send, to other government employees or government contractors to process your request or research and answer your questions.
